SAILOR 6120 SSA System$3 310.00The SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS system from Thrane & Thrane builds on the successful legacy of the SAILOR TT-3000SSA system, which has repeatedly proven its value in real-world incidents since its introduction in 2004. Like its predecessor, the SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS is based on a standalone, sealed Inmarsat mini-C terminal, containing both the antenna and transceiver. This design has proven durable and reliable across all ship types. With the terminal’s 50-channel GPS module and omnidirectional antenna, satellite positioning is maintained even under the most challenging conditions. The SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS fully meets the requirements specified in IMO MSC.136(76) and MSC.144(77) in accordance with SOLAS XI-2/6. These regulations state that all ships over 500 GT must be equipped with a Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) to be used in the event of pirate attacks to notify the flag state administration. Alerts are silent, meaning there is no audible or visual indication on board that the alarm has been activated. The SAILOR 6120 mini-C SSAS is approved by Inmarsat and all major classification societies as well as flag state administrations where required.
